Chamber filter press how it works
1. Filter Press Chambers Filling: The slurry is pumped into the chambers formed by the chamber filter plates on the filter press side bars
2. Filtration: by the pressure from the feed pump,push all the liquid to pass every filter cloth on the filter plate,the solids will stay on the filter cloth surface and stay in the chambers
3. Filter Cake Formation: filtrate will discharged as soon as possible during filtration,the solids accumulate and form a filter cake.
4. Filter Cake Discharge: Once the filter press chambers are full, the chamber filter plates are separated, and the filter cake will be discharged during filter press plate shifting.
After filter cake discharing,the filter press plate and filter press cloth will be inspected and cleaned,after cleaning the filter press plates and cloths will be pressed again for next filtering cycle.
